First Heli Made in Indonesia Submitted to the TNI

A helicopter unit NBELL 412 EP PT Dirgantara Indonesia submitted to the Commander of the Army Aviation Centre at Aviation Center Pondok Cabe, Tangerang (Tangsel), Banten.

President Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia Budi Santoso said the helicopter NBELL EP 412 is the first domestic production in cooperation of the Minister of Defence and Aerospace Indonesia PT.

"This submission is a pride for PT Dirgantara Indonesia, because of Defense and the TNI Headquarters has entrusted the defense of our country," he said to Legal in Pondok Cabe Airport on Wednesday (02/02/2011).

Explained, NBELL 412 EP helicopter is the only aircraft that has a dual function. As an air car that works for a humanitarian mission, but the plane is equipped with a 30 caliber rifle on the right and left Helicopters.

"This defense cooperation is the defense Indonesia revitalization program that has been proclaimed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY)," he explained.
